How was Bellissima's born?

Hi, I’m Ayriliz Martínez, the CEO and Owner of Bellissima by Ari LLC. After the joyful arrival of my baby girl, my husband and I decided I would stay home to focus on raising her. While embracing motherhood, I was inspired to fulfill my long-time dream of becoming an entrepreneur, and that’s how Bellissima by Ari LLC was born.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and my experience as a U.S. Army Veteran specializing in Logistics, I bring a disciplined, strategic approach to running my business. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, my Hispanic heritage plays a big role in shaping the values and vision of Bellissima by Ari LLC.

Our journey began with a mission to offer stylish and diverse women’s clothing in a community with limited options. While we currently operate exclusively online, we are planning to open a physical location in Hinesville, GA, in the future.

Our evolution

  • An Idea Was Born

    The idea for Chic and Fab by AP was born after I transitioned from a career in accounting for a major hotel chain and serving in the U.S. Army, to becoming a full-time mom. As I adjusted to life at home with my little one, I wanted to create something meaningful that allowed me to blend my passions for style, organization, and family.

    Though life threw a few curveballs, I’ve remained committed to my vision of offering stylish, functional pieces that help busy women feel confident and fabulous.

  • The Brand Was Born

    After Chic and Fab by AP didn’t succeed due to circumstances beyond my control, I refused to give up on my dream. Starting from scratch, I wanted a name that reflected the beauty and strength of women. Inspired by my dream of visiting Italy, Bellissima by Ari was born.

    I quickly created a logo on a free website, and when I showed it to a friend, she said, “It looks more like a kids' store logo.” I laughed and told her, “It’s just temporary—I just need a foundation to get started.” And that’s how Bellissima by Ari came to life.
